Three women were killed and a 3-year-old girl was seriously injured after they were involved in a wreck about 9 p.m., Tuesday, on FM 1442 near the Cajun Way Road intersection.
The women were identified as Kelly Marie Dutta, 33, of Beaumont, and her child who was seriously injured is Emily Dutta. The other two people killed at the scene were Margaret Jane Cottom, 61, of Jasper and Kathy Viator, 47 of Orange.
The wreck occured when Dutta made an unsafe turn onto Cajun Way Road and struck the Trailblazer killing the occupants.
