PINEHURST —
Time to auction off the old.
The City of Pinehurst will have two meetings on Tuesday, Nov. 27.
The first meeting will be a special meeting at 10 a.m. at the former Pinehurst City Hall located at 3640 Mockingbird to conduct an auction of the old city hall and fire department property.
Debbie Cormier, city secretary, said a special meeting is being held because the council members were interested in attending the auction.
If three or more are present it is a quorum. To ensure the legalities of such an issue, a special meeting was posted to stay in compliance with the Texas Open Meeting Act.
The second meeting is at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the new Pinehurst City Hall located at 2467 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Pinehurst.
