BEAUMONT —
For the second time this year, rock act Saliva is heading to Crockett Street.
Platinum selling rock act Saliva has announced a return engagement for Southeast Texas as the band will perform on Thursday, Sept. 27, at The Gig on Crockett Street in downtown Beaumont. Tickets are $12 in advance and go on sale Friday, Aug. 17, online at www.thegigbeaumont.com for ages 18 and older.
Saliva last performed in Southeast Texas on Feb. 23, 2012, as a large crowd turned out to see the band and its new singer, Bobby Amaru, who has superbly taken over the vocalist position previously held by Josey Scott who left the band in 2011 to pursue a solo Christian music career.
The band, which is best known for its multiple rock radio hits such as “Click, Click, Boom,” “Your Disease” “After Me,” “Always” and “Ladies and Gentlemen,” also debuted a new song, “All Around the World,” at its Beaumont concert earlier this year and surprised many fans with how much it still sounds like Saliva.
Find the band’s official page on Facebook for more information.
