WINNIE, Texas —
California rock band The Wallflowers has canceled its upcoming appearance in Southeast Texas.
The Wallflowers forthcoming concert on Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Nutty Jerry’s Entertainment Complex in Winnie, Texas, has been canceled, according to a statement from the venue.
“Due to circumstances beyond our control we regret to inform our fans that the November 17th Wallflowers concert has been canceled,” the e-mail stated. “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. All purchased tickets will be fully refunded. Please contact Nutty Jerry’s box office at 877-643-7508 with any questions.”
The Wallflowers released its first album in seven years with “Glad All Over” this past October. The band also debuted a lyric video on RollingStone.com for the single, “Love is a Country.” The previous single, “Reboot the Mission,” was released in late July.
The Wallflowers appearances on Friday, Nov. 16, in Dallas, and on Sunday, Nov. 18, in Austin remain scheduled as normal.
