The YMBL’s South Texas State Fair returns for another fabulous 11-day run of thrilling rides, fantastic food, exhibits, rodeo, games and plenty of great music as well.
Daily specials such as Kid’s Day on Saturday, Ladies Night on Tuesday, Buddy Night on Wednesday and Cantastic Sunday offer patrons of the fair some of the best bargains for those on a budget. Regular admission prices are $8 for Adults, $4 for students ages 11-17 and senior citizens ages 65 and older, and children ages 10 and younger are admitted free. On opening night, Carnival Americana offers special unlimited ride wristbands for just $20 until 9 p.m.
The YMBL Rodeo takes place at 7 p.m., Friday, March 22, and 5 p.m., Saturday, March 23 and features Don Gay, the four-time world champion, handling the “play-by-play” action each day.
This year’s line-up features an array of local and regional artists that will surely keep the good times and tunes flowing from the Patio Stage.
