Eagles Lodge

The Eagles Nest offers area music lovers something new tonight with a performance by the band, It Ain’t Over Yet.

The fun starts at 8 p.m. and continues until midnight, and everyone is welcome to attend. Admission is just $5 at the door.

Patty Ferguson keeps the Saturday karaoke tradition alive and well at the Eagles Lodge, so warm up your voice and sing your heart out every Saturday. Admission is free.

Dust off your dancing shoes for a Sunday afternoon spin around the Eagles dance floor with a performance from area band Hightide starting at 3 p.m. Admission is only $3 for single entry and $5 per couple at the door.

And on Wednesday, be sure to take a break from the work week and try your luck with the weekly karaoke contest going on at the Eagles Lodge. The competition will continue for a few more weeks. Call 409-886-7381 for more details.

Capistrano

Craig Mouton and Slingshot is back for the second consecutive week, and for good reason. One listen to this band and you will understand why, so check this group out as it performs on stage at the Capistrano tonight.

Or, if you happen to be a fan of the Darren McGill, then be sure to catch McGill and his accomplices as the group dishes out the music on stage Saturday night.

It seems like it has been many weeks since Phillip Glyn and Cheap Whiskey last performed at Cotton’s Cay, and, in reality, it has. So what are you waiting for? Cow Bayou Marina

Check out something different this weekend at Cow Bayou Marina with three great days of music.

Performing from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, is Dobbie and the Dreamers. The group returns for a performance from noon to 4 p.m., Saturday, only to be followed by the highly popular area band, the Dallas Street Ramblers from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday.

Madison’s

Still Cruisin’ brings its blues and classic rock sound to Madison’s this Saturday for ages 21 and older. Admission is $5 per person.

Then, on Tuesday night on the patio, check out one of the most entertaining music collectives in Southeast Texas as El Floppy Tacos make its weekly appearance. Admission is free. Call 409-924-9777 for more info.

The Barking Dog

Jace Prince performs a rocking all ages showcase at 8 p.m., Saturday, at The Barking Dog in downtown Beaumont. Admission is $5 per person at the door. Call 409-835-2275 for more information.

Star Bar

The Star Bar is the place to be to catch the soulful rock sounds of Laurel and Electric Circus tonight. Admission is free for ages 21 and older.

Then, if you happen to be a Sublime fan, catch a special showcase on Monday night for ages 18 and older with the band Free Moral Agents.

Also appearing are Zechs Marquise and, local rockers, The Amorist. Admission is being charged at the door.

The Hub

Check out the start of Texas country music Saturday’s at The Hub on Crockett Street in downtown Beaumont, and it all begins this Saturday night with a concert by Sam Silva and The Good on the patio. Dylan’s

Get your fill of local and regional entertainment this weekend at Dylan’s in Mid-County.

Performing tonight on the Dylan’s stage is the regional act Weirdo, while local variety act Todd Howard and Tightrope are slated to perform on Saturday. Admission is charged at the door each weekend night for ages 21 and older.

And every Tuesday night is acoustic music at Dylan’s. If you enjoy the Larry Tillery Band, then you will be amazed at what Tillery can do solo. Admission is free on Tuesday night. Call 409-722-1600 for more information.

The Place

The Alley Cats keep the mid-week fun moving along with performances every Wednesday night at The Place, located in Port Acres. Admission is always free and ages 21 and older are always welcome. Call 409-736-2650 for details.

Dave Shaw and Eazy travel back to Mid-County for a performance tonight at Larry’s French Market and Cajun Restaurant in Groves.

Orange VFW

The VFW Hall on North 16th Street in Orange is always your location to start the weekend early.

Every Thursday night the public is invited to attend the weekly dance featuring live music by variety act Crossfire. Admission is $5 at the door and the good times start at 7 p.m. for ages 21 and older. Call 409-886-9738 for information.

 

Dixie Dance Hall

Stoney LaRue returns to Southeast Texas as the band performs inside the Dixie Dance Hall on Crockett Street in downtown Beaumont.
