• July 15, 1982 Victor Borge delivered a stunning concert at the Lutcher Theater for the Performing Arts in Orange.
• July 18, 2003 The first rock concert featuring national artists was held in the amphitheater of the newly opened Southeast Texas Entertainment Complex, later renamed Ford Park, as Poison performed in Beaumont for the first time since 1986. Vince Neil, the frontman of Motley Crue, was main support and Skid Row, featuring vocalist Johnny Solinger, served as the opening act.
