Journey postpones Lafayette concert due to Isaac

LAFAYETTE, La. — Tropical Storm Isaac has forced rock band Journey to postpone its scheduled Tuesday night concert.

Iconic rock act Journey has announced it is postponing its concert, which was scheduled for Tuesday night, Aug. 28, inside the Cajundome in Lafayette, La. with special guests Pat Benatar and Loverboy, due to the threat posed by Tropical Storm Isaac.

The Beaver Productions concert will be rescheduled at a later date, which is still to be determined, so all fans are asked to hold onto their tickets as more information becomes available.

Journey is touring in support of its May 2011 release, “Eclipse.” The CD is the band’s 14th release and peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart.
