ORANGE —
One of the most beloved children’s book characters ever created is coming to Orange this month.
“Clifford the Big Red Dog Live!” will arrive at 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 16, at the Lutcher Theater for the Performing Arts for an all new family musical adventure. Tickets are $18 and are available at the box office or by calling 409-886-5535 and online at www.lutcher.org.
Clifford is celebrating his 50th anniversary in 2012-2013 and, in this new musical adventure, Clifford and Emily Elizabeth will take audiences on a journey to Birdwell Island with their friends Cleo, T-Bone, Charley, Jetta and Mac.
According to a press release, the group will learn about Clifford’s “Be Big” ideas such as sharing, playing fair, respecting others, working together, telling the truth, helping other people and responsibility through song and dance and laughter.
The Lutcher Theater for the Performing Arts is located at 707 Main Ave. in downtown Orange.
