BEAUMONT —
The Orange Community Players have announced its first show of 2013.
The Orange Community Players present the Southeast Texas premiere of “Mama Won’t Fly,” at 7:37 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 through Saturday, Feb. 16, and again on Thursday, Feb. 21 through Saturday, Feb. 23. A matinee is scheduled at 2:37 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 24.
An outrageously hilarious race against the clock begins when Savannah Sprunt Fairchild Honeycutt agrees to get her feisty mother all the way from Alabama to California in time for her brother’s wedding.
However, Savannah has a problem and it’s because Mama won’t fly.
This ferociously funny, family-friendly Jones Hope Wooten comedy comes with a special dedication from the writers to our own beloved, Jeff Hattman.
Tickets are $5 for students and $12 for adults and may be purchased at the box office an hour prior to each performance, or online at www.orangecommunityplayers.com. Call 409-882-9137 for reservations.
