BEAUMONT — Christian rock band Skillet performed in front of a capacity crowd of approximately 7,800 people on Saturday afternoon at Ford Park Arena in Beaumont as part of the Hot Hearts youth convention. The band’s new record, tentatively titled “Rise,” is expected to be released in May.
