Jeff and Ella Wilmore of Groves are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sophie Allyce Wilmore, to Mr. Tony Sarda, son of Ms. Gina Noriega of Guatemala City, Guatemala, and Dr. Antonio and Mrs. Flor Sarda of Orange.
The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School and a 2010 Lamar University Honors Program graduate with a B.B.A. in Marketing, Cum Laude. Sophie is employed as a Credit Analyst for CommunityBank of Texas in Beaumont, and is currently a graduate student seeking her M.B.A. at Lamar University.
The prospective groom is a 2001 graduate of Belen Jesuit Preparatory School in Miami, Florida. He is a 2008 Lamar University Honors Program graduate with B.B.A.s in Finance and Economics, Cum Laude, and a 2009 Lamar graduate with a B.S. in Political Science. Tony is employed as an Admissions Representative for Lamar University Department of Academic Services.
The prospective bride and groom were both recipients of the Aaron Rose Award for Outstanding Graduating Senior in the Lamar University College of Business their respective graduating years.
Their sunset garden wedding ceremony will be held on November 19, 2011 at the Botanical Garden Center at Tyrell Park in Beaumont.
