Top Dream Vacation Spots
This week editor Gabriel Pruett is highlighting his dream vacation spots within the United States. He has been busy at home the last two weeks trying to find a spot to go this summer. Here are the places he would like to visit the most.
New York CityA trip to New York City has always been a dream of mine. We are planning a Summer 2013 trip to The Big Apple and I am already losing sleep in anticipation. Las VegasI have been to Vegas twice and enjoyed both trips, one I was not even old enough to be in the casinos. Las Vegas just has that special feeling and the last time I was there I saw Lebron James. I will let you guess who won the 1-on-1 match. AustinAustin is always great. How could it not be? It is weird, close by and simply a great place to relax and enjoy life. Plus there is always a trip to the University of Texas to check out the Longhorns' campus. HawaiiJust look at that sand and blue water. It makes our beaches in Southeast Texas look a little bad doesn't it? Hawaii just looks perfect and I would love a trip over there on one condition - I know for 100% there will be no volcanos or earthquake activity. ChicagoChicago might be an odd choice yet there is nothing wrong with a trip to the Windy City. The Sears Tower has to be amazing to see and the Great Lakes are in the area. San AntonioSan Antonio is a great place to visit over a weekend. There are plenty of places to have a nice dinner and enjoy the company of friends and family. DisneyThis is an obvious choice. Disney is every kids' dream and I am yet to make it over to see Mickey and friends. DenverI figured the list had to have one place which was in the mountains so why not Denver? The Mile High City has a lot to offer including a hard time on my lungs which have lived in Southeast Texas my entire life. Washington D.C.There is no place like Washington D.C. to capture the history of our country. Besides the site seeing I am not sure of much other draw the city has but seeing the Washington and Lincoln Monuments would be enough for me. New OrleansParts of New Orleans might smell pretty bad and there are other parts that are at times down right dirty. Yet this is part of the reason I love this city. When you want to have a good time and leave your cares behind, travel to New Orleans. |

Most Annoying "Musicians"
Editor Gabriel Pruett put musicians in parenthesis for a reason. A vast majority of the people listed below are not artists or musicians in his mind. When these folks come on the radio or on TV, Gabe is known to full out growl.

Favorite Johnny Depp Roles
Johnny Depp's latest movie, "Dark Shadows", is not off to a great start at the box office. I even read an article saying some might be tired of the actor. Depp is one of my favorites and below, in no particular order, are my favorite roles Depp has played in movies.
