The Dark Knight RisesThe supposed last installment of the Christopher Nolan Batman series is slated to come out July 20. The Amazing Spider-ManA new cast takes over the Spider-Man series. This summer classic comes out July 3. Dark ShadowsTim Burton and Johnny Depp seem to find each other every few years. This take on the TV classic comes out May 11. Killing Them SoftlyBrad Pitt and Ray Liotta in the same mob-themed movie? Sept. 21 cannot come quick enough. The Hobbit: An Unexpected JourneyThe wait to travel back to Middle Earth will be over on Dec. 14 as we learn more of Bilbo Baggins' journey before Frodo was even around. The best part? Ian McKellen is back as Gandalf. Snow White and the HuntsmanCharles Theron is the dark queen so the guys will be happy when this movie comes out on June 1. The television series "Once Upon A Time" has been great telling the story of Snow White so this movie is coming out at a great time. The AvengersThe third movie on the list to be comic book related. But the chance to see The Hulk screaming and throwing cars and helicopters around is worth cost of admission. It comes out May 4. TedAdmit it, we all wished as a kid our teddy bears would come to life. On July 13 Mark Wahlberg has it happen as an adult. Why are the rich always the lucky ones? The MasterThere are two reasons this Oct. 12 movie is on the list. No. 1: the return of Joaquin Phoenix to acting after a dud rap career. No. 2: His name is Philip Seymour Hoffman. Oz: The Great and PowerfulWe are ready to be off to see the Wizard, the Wonderful Wizard of Oz played by James Franco starting on March 8, 2013. A little early to plug this movie? It can never be too early to start thinking of a Wizard of Oz prequel. |
