LAKE CHARLES —
A one-vehicle wreck Thursday near I-210 and Louisiana Highway 14 left two passengers dead.
Christopher Hamrick, 20, and Brett Vidallier, 24 and both of Starks, were found to have died as a result of the incident.
The driver, Jerry Miller, 19, of Starks, sustained serious injuries.
Reports indicated the 2001 Honda Civic was exiting the LA Hwy. 14 eastbound exit when it left the roadway striking the curb of the exit ramp according to a press release from the Lake Charles Police Department.
The vehicle continued traveling eastbound across the highway and struck a large concrete barrier, according to reports
No citations have been issued at this time pending the outcome of the toxicology report.
The investigation is still ongoing.
