ORANGE — One person was found dead Saturday by Orange Police Department officers after a shooting at the Fox Run Apartments on Allie Payne Road.
Kendrick Dunlap, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting at 2600 Allie Payne Road, Apt. 608. Dunlap was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Desean Sandles, 21, was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the head. Witnesses told police it was self inflicted. Sandles was later taken to a Beaumont hospital by helicopter.
Officers were called to the scene at 9:55 p.m. Saturday.
