Orange man dies after wreck on rural road

ORANGE — An Orange man has died after a wreck on South Teal Road.

Charles Ray Block II was pronounced dead at the scene of the one-car crash by Justice of the Peace Derry Dunn. South Teal Road connects Texas 87 and FM 1130, several miles north of Interstate 10.

The Texas Department of Transportation reported Block's Honda vehicle left the roadway for an unknown reason and overturned before striking a tree. The DPS did note Block was wearing his seat belt. The wreck was said to take place at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
