ORANGE — The Kiwanis Club of Orange, Texas is selling raffle tickets for $20 each for a chance to win a $4,000 travel voucher through Globe Trek Travel to travel wherever you may want. The Kiwanis Club has only printed 500 tickets, so the odds of winning the raffle are good. The drawing for the travel voucher will be held at the Kiwanis meeting on January 17, 2013 at Sunset Grove Country Club, and you need not be present to win. All proceeds from the raffle will be used to fund the great community service projects that the Kiwanis Club is involved in, including scholarships to local students, BUG (Bring Up Grades), Citizenship Day, and Christmas Lights Displays in downtown Orange. To purchase raffle tickets, you can contact any local Kiwanis member, or call the Kiwanis Club President, Andrew Culpepper, at (409) 779-3033, or the Past President, Chris Smith, at (409) 886-7766. Last year’s winners Fire Chief David Frenzel and his wife, Hildy, took their vacation to Hawaii!
