VIDOR — The Vidor Public Library will host a special program, “Owl Puke,” presented by Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m., Wednesday, July 11. Maxine, a barred owl, will make a guest appearance with Ellen Dacy and Susan Montagne. Maxine was found in Mauriceville when she was 6 months old. She lost one of her wings and couldn’t survive on her own. Maxine has called Shangri La home for the past several years.
