VIDOR — The Genies, a genealogy group in Vidor, recently had a visit with three authors from the Newton and Jasper-area, who shared selections and insights into their writings. Pictured, from left, are Alene Dunn, author of “Red Dirt and Sand Hill Stories,” Katie Moak, “Napolean and the Hurricane,” and Louise Jetton, “Dueling Sisters.” All of these books are available for purchase at the Vidor Public Library.
