LAKE CHARLES —
The Bludd family has taken over the USS Orleck to give visitors a haunting experience.
The 2nd annual Halloween event is full of suspense, chills and frights for those willing to participate in the experiment in terror carefully designed by ‘The Bludd Family’.
The ship will be open Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday Oct. 30 and Wed Oct. 31.
Gates will open at 6 pm and the haunting starting at 7 pm at 604 N. Enterprise Blvd., Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Live entertainment will be on property Saturday and Tuesday Oct. 30 and will include Thriller performers, drum group, flame tossers, and zombie belly dancers to name a few. Mr. Gattis Pizza and Weenie Dogs hot-dog cart will also be on-site.
Tickets are $10 general admission and $25 Fastpass which will get guest through the line quicker. With it being the last weekend, visitors are encouraged to purchase tickets online at www.orleck.org to avoid waiting in the ticket booth line.
Ticket sales end at 11 pm.
No opened-toed shoes are permitted on the vessel and there is a minimum age of 10 or older to participate in the night of horror.
