ORANGE —
The Orange County Christian Writers Guild (OCCWG) has kicked off their first meeting.
The guild had published Author Francis Collins, writer of “Seashell Prisoners” and Joseph Henry, writer of “Back to the Basics” “It’s God’s Way or the Highway” in attendance along with several others.
The guild passed several by-laws and are scheduled to meet the first Tuesday of each month at The Brown Hearing Center, 105 Camellia Street, Orange, between 6 p.m. – 7p.m. (With the exception of January due to New Years Day – The group will meet on the 2nd Tuesday which is Jan. 8, 2013).
The guild meet in the building in the back so park in the side parking lot and go to the door that is mid-way between the two buildings. Go in and up the stairs.
In January, they will have Martha Bush speak on “Publishing Your Book.”
Martha is no stranger to writing. She has recently written a bereavement book but has written and spoke at many different outlets.
Chester Moore will be speaking at the February meeting. Most know him as a columnist in the Orange Leader but he is a published author many times over and has a great testimony.
The public is invited to attend.
