Orange, TX —
Ray and Lorene Camp will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, September 6, 2011. The couple were married in the home of the bride's parents in Riverside Addition, in Orange, Texas. The couple will renew their wedding vows, Sunday September 4, 2011, at the First Church of God in Orange; where they are both members. Pastor Demetrius Moffett will officiate the ceremony, and the couple's family and friends will be in attendance. A family dinner and reception will follow at Pappadeaux's Restaurant, in Beaumont. The celebration is hosted by their four children and spouses: Martha Baker of Greeley CO; Mary and Randy Begley of Yukon OK; Lora and Richard Harris of Allen, TX; and John and Vickie Camp of Orange, TX. Their grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be in attendance to honor the couple. Ray served in The United States Army during WWII, and retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber, Lake Charles, LA in 1988 after 32 1/2 years. Lorene retired from WOCCISD, as WO-S Central Kitchen Supervisor in 1995 after 28 1/2 years.
