Orange — Ercil & Gail Owen are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on July 11th. They were married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Orange, Texas on July 9, 1960. Ercil was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur, and graduate of Lamar in Beaumont. Ercil worked at Bridgestone/Firestone in Orange for 32 years. Gail Thierheimer was a graduate of Lutcher Stark High School in Orange and graduated from Orange Memorial Hospital as a radiology technologist. Gail worked at Park Avenue Lab, for Dr. Heisey and Baptist Memorial Hospital. Ercil and Gail have three sons and daugther-in-laws: Greg & Liz Owen of Orange, Texas, Tommy & Sandra Owen of Vidor, Texas, and John & Liz Owen of Orlando, Florida. They also are proud grandparents of four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. There will be a reception at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Kirbyville, Texas for family and friends.
