Harry and Mary Fontenot celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 22, with a family dinner at Colichia’s Italian Village, in Groves. The celebration was hosted by their children and grandchildren.
Mary Blanda and Harry Fontenot were married July 22, 1961, in Orange, Texas. Both retired from Nederland I.S.D. with over 30 years of service as educators. Harry and Mary are members of St. Charles Catholic Church.
Their children are: Harry Fontenot III, Louis Fontenot and Anne Marie Singleton all of Nederland.
